Custom coating & Laminating
Couldn’t find a colour or type of fabric in our extensive range? Then it is possible to send your own textiles for coating or laminating.
Thermopatch has two ways of coating/laminating:
• Powder coating. This is mainly used for cotton or a blend of cotton with polyester
• Laminate. This process is more for special or delicate fabrics
Keep in mind that some loss of material occurs: usually about 2-3 running metres when laminating, and 8-10 running metres when powder coating. To find out if a fabric can be coated or laminated, it is advisable to make a sample and test this (at least A4 size).
After coating or laminating, the textile is processed and delivered as patches or on rolls.
