Combine colour and code successfully with an efficient sorting system. The Thermosal tape adheres perfectly to most textiles and is available in 10 colours and white.

Thermoseal 4635 1/4″ for Y-600, Y-151, Y-140-B, Y-130 Rabbit, Y-126, etc.
Thermoseal 8635 1/2″ for Y-600 and Y-300 models.

Packed and supplied as 6 rolls per colour, length 120 Ft/36 meters.

Description

Thermo-Seal® marking tape for temporary marking machines like the Thermoseal Y-120 series, Y-130 Rabbit, Y-140 series, Y-151, Y-300, Y-600, Bunny T6 and Bunny T-12.

Application

Thermo-Seal® tape is developed for temporary marking of textile in a dry cleaning or wet wash process. After finishing the process the label can be removed without leaving adhesion residue on the textile. Color coding prevents sorting errors and reduces sorting labor.

Properties

Washing up to 95°C Dry cleaning resistant
Adheres to cotton, polyester cotton blends, loose weave polyester and wool
The tape is a cotton fabric with a proprietary adhesive layer to be printed upon with a wash and dry cleaning resistant ink by means of a temporary marking machine

Limitations of use

None, when washing instructions of the underlying textile are followed.

Physical properties

The tape consists of a textile with a proprietary finish and a proprietary adhesive. The tape has no particular odor
The tape is available in various colors and two widths. THESL4635xx 1/4’’ wide and THESL8635xx 1/2’’ wide
The eleven colors are orange, yellow, red, grey, lavender, white, green, pink, blue, gold and tan

Before sealing

Ensure that the to be marked textile is free of lint, dust, dirt and no seams, zipper, buttons etc. are near the place where the heat sealing will be performed.
Remark: Good bonding can be prevented in pre-conditioned fabrics with a dirt or water repel- lant coating.

Heat seal instructions

175 °C at 2.7 up to 4,5 seconds on a temporary marking machine.
Make sure that the sealing plate of the machine is clean and undamaged.

Handling and storage

Keep away from oxidizing agents, from strongly alkaline and strongly acid materials
Keep the emblems in their original packing, out of direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place.

Precautions

No specific safety measures are required when working with this product. We advise to ventilate well at heat sealing activities, since vapors may occur from any material such as textiles being processed.
