Care Labels

Care labels from Thermopatch are available in the following variations:

Care label 1 – Nylon taffeta
A strong and flexible care label that can be printed on two sides. Using the modern HiQ-MACH4.3 printer from Thermopatch, washing instructions and other information are printed easily, and above all sharply on the label, in 300 dpi.

Care label 3 – Industrial version
This heavier type of care label is especially suitable for work clothing and other textiles where industrial washing is required. Think of overalls, curtains and even horse blankets! This type of care label also offers a solution for dry cleaners. After frequent washing, a care label type 3 retains its high quality print. A type 3 care label can be printed on one side by using the combination of a Thermopatch HiQ printer and a G7 ink ribbon.

Care labels are available in white in 30, 40 and 50 millimeters width on a roll of 100 meters, (with a core of 50 mm). Other widths and / or colours are possible depending on the volume and on request.

Description

CL-01: optical white polyamide taffeta, non-fray. Both sides coated. Suitable for hotfoil, flexo and thermal transfer printing on both sides, tear resistant
CL-01 FR: optical white polyamide taffeta, non-fray. Both sides coated. Suitable for hotfoil, flexo and thermal transfer printing on both sides, tear resistant and with additional flame retardant properties
CL-03: extra durable polyester cotton with a thermal transfer printable topcoat from polyurethane, non-fray, tear resistant

Application

Sewable labels, safety belt labels, identification labels with barcodes.
Print with suitable inks to obtain an acceptable washability.

Additional FR properties for CL-01 FR: Flame retardant, cf US standard FMVSS 302 and Japanese standard JISD 1201. Aviation authority CAA no. 8 issue 2.

None, when washing instructions of the underlying textile are followed.

For CL-03 an additional thermal transfer printable layer of white polyurethane is added onto the polyester cotton textile.

Storage and shelf life

The shelf life of this product is advised to be best before 12 months in original packing, in optimal storage.
Store at 18 – 23 °C, 50-55% RH, avoid UV exposure, store away from direct sunlight.
