Thermopatch Reflective Plotter foil (silver)
Description
Thermopatch Reflective is an open lens type material containing microscopic glass beads bonded to a heat transfer active layer. In darkness and in reduced visibility the retro reflective properties of the material ensure a reflection of incident light.

Application
Thermopatch Reflective is designated to be applied on fabrics based on cotton, polyester and mixtures of cotton with polyesters. The right conditions of application (temperature, press a.s.o.) have to be tested on each textile support separately before using!
Heat sealing
- Remove the protective layer on the adhesive side of the product
- Temperature ranges between 150°C and 165°C; (Depends on type of fabric)
- High temperature washing applications will ask for the higher temperatures in this range.
- Time: 20 – 15 seconds
- Pressure: 0.5 kg/cm²* pressure, or medium pressure on a manual operated heat sealing press. • Remove release film on top after a short cool down period (hand warm)
- For an optimal heat sealing result we advise to set the pressure on any large platen pneumatic heat seal press to 3-4 bar (medium) on the pressure regulator of the machine, when using the standard issued under platen. When using smaller underplates, decrease pressure to avoid damage to the transfers.

Application
- Temperature setting advised for application from/up to: 150 °C -165 °C
- Heat sealing time: 15 – 12 s
- Pressure: 0.5 kg/cm²* pressure, or medium pressure on a manual operated heat sealing press.
- After cooling, carefully remove the protective foil when still warm
- After removing the protective foil repeat the procedure
- For an optimal heat sealing result we advise to set the pressure on any large platen pneumatic heat seal press to 3-5 bar on the pressure regulator of the machine, when using the standard issued underplaten. When using smaller underplatens, decrease pressure to avoid damage to the transfers
Handling and storage
Keep away from oxidizing agents, from strongly alkaline en strongly acid materials. Store out of direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place.
