Das Aufbringen eines Bildes, Logos oder Markennamens auf eine Softshell-Jacke oder ein Sportshirt sollte auf Anhieb gut funktionieren, ohne dass die Gefahr besteht, dass die Farbe durchscheint oder die Farbe migriert. Das flexible Sublifix mit seinem einzigartigen Blocker liefert beste Ergebnisse ohne das Risiko des sogenannten 'Ausblutens'.
Sportbekleidung wird häufig im Sublimationsdruckverfahren hergestellt, hierbei wird dem Polyestergewebe Farbe hinzugefügt, um es zu komplettieren. Der Hauptvorteil dieser Technik besteht darin, dass das Kleidungsstück leicht bleibt und die Farben hell und lebendig sind. Ein Nachteil ist, dass das spätere Aufbringen eines Transfers auf diese Art von Kleidungsstücken schwieriger ist, da die Gefahr der Farbmigration besteht.
Sublifix, als flexibles Qualitätstransfer, verfügt über eine zusätzliche Blockerschicht, die jede Möglichkeit der Farbmigration (Sublimation) verhindert. Wenn ein Transfer wie Flextrans oder Truflex aufgrund des „Ausblutens“ der Farben nicht verwendet werden kann, ist Sublifix die ideale Lösung.
Sublifix garantiert kräftige Farben und hochauflösende Bilder. Dieses Transfer ist in fast allen PMS-Farben sowie in den gut sichtbaren Neonfarben Orange, Grün, Rot, Pink und Gelb erhältlich.

Description
Sublifix is a heat seal transfer that has been developed for application on polyester, and other fabrics with bleeding due to free dye stuff migration properties. This type of transfer is fitted with an additional dye blocking layer.
Thermopatch strongly recommends testing on textiles where migration of free dye stuff can be expected. Examples are dispersion dyed polyester soft shell fabrics with elastane, polyester mix textiles, or polyesters with prints made by dye sublimation techniques.
Sublifix transfers are compliant to Oeko Tex 100 Class 1, under certificate number 1110043 Centexbel.
Application
Silk screen printed transfers which are applied to textile or other heat sealable materials by heat and pressure for decoration or identification.
Properties
- Washable up to 40°C domesting washing and drying
- Anti migration blocking properties against bleeding from free dye stuff from textiles. Suitable for all textiles which allow the thermoplastic adhesive to penetrate and bind itself to it and which are resistant to its application temperatures.

None, when washing instructions of the underlying textile are followed.

Before sealing
Ensure that the to be marked textile is free of lint, dust, dirt and no seams, zipper, buttons etc. are near the place where the heat sealing will be performed.

Position the Sublifix transfer with the glue side downwards, onto the garment. Close the heat seal press with the set temperature, time and pressure.
Remove the carrier directly after the machine opens up.
* Pre-heating of polyester or polyamide fabric is recommended, for 5 – 7 seconds at the set temperature, to remove shrinking of the textile by contact with the heating platen, which can damage any transfer. *Covering transfers with baking paper is recommended due to the risk of static cling to the heating plate due to the properties of polyester and polyamide and -mix fabrics.
* Good bonding can be prevented in pre-conditioned repelling fabric with DWR-coating. Re-sealing at the set temperatures for another 5 – 7 seconds, covered with baking paper or the removed carrier, can alleviate problems with adhesion on most repelling fabrics.
* For an optimal heat sealing result we advise to set the pressure on any large platen pneumatic heat seal press to 3-5 bar on the pressure regulator of the machine, when using the standard issued underplate. When using smaller underplates, decrease pressure to avoid damage to the transfers.
Sublifix has hot peel properties which means that the applied transfer foil can be peeled off almost immediately after opening the press. Leave the garment to cool down for a few seconds before taking it off the machine and peel off the polyester carrier foil.
Handling and storage
Keep away from oxidising agents, from strongly alkaline and strongly acidic materials. Store out of direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place.
Shelflife: 1 year when stored in their original packing, out of direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place.
